Castle Ministries has been designed
to further educate and disciple Christians by providing them
with a place for study and solitude.
We are a 501c3 organization and it is our hope to service
Christians at the lowest possible cost. We intend to use a
castle building to house people in a majestic setting away
from the "hustle and bustle" of every day life.
The following is a list of concerns
which we hope to address: -High divorce rate -Marital problems -Low commitment to churches -Inadequate knowledge and application of Scripture -Inadequate camp facilities for youth/college
students -Camp/training for college students -Need for a haven of rest and relaxation for church leaders
To serve these needs Castle
Ministries has set up four programs: Marriage Retreats, Courses
of Study, Discipleship Camps, and an Open Door. It is our
hope that the Castle and medieval theme will be a reminder
of our devotion to Jesus Christ, the King of all kings.
Castle Ministries was founded by Jacob Stock with the help of his wife. Jacob and Melissa moved from Texas to Tennessee in 2004 where Castle Ministries has a 40 acre mountain top property. They have plans to start the work on a castle building. Currently, the home on the property is open to pastors and for Bible study. Jacob has completed a master's degree in education at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Castle Ministries operates on three main values we see as fundamental to our faith in Jesus Christ. Our other two represent those that the ministry sees as highly important in our American society and those with which we believe God has lead us to be more concerned.
-Glory to God proclaims that all we do is for God's glory alone. Psalm 19:1-2; Isaiah 48:11
-Christ alone is the understanding that we base our faith on the person and divinity of Jesus Christ. He is the cornerstone and author of our faith. Acts 4:12; John 14:7
-The Scripture is the revelation of who God is and who we are as his people. Our authority and principles of living are based upon the full traditional 66 book canon of Scripture. I Timothy 3:16-17; I Peter 1:20-21
-Family is the unit of core people in which God places persons to grow and then to lead. II Timothy 1:5; Hebrews 13:4
